Luckily there was no urgency to go to toilet!! One day we didn't have toilet paper and it was very hard to get hold of anyone, and after they said they would bring it we still had to go to reception and look again later. We had some questions to ask, but couldn't get hold of anyone. When you need to contact people in the reception they are never there. The air-condition works fine, but it turns itself off all the time, so if you expect to come into a fresh and cold room you will be disappointed. The rooms look torn and don't have much space. When you enter your room you feel let down. The entrance, the surroundings and the location are all amazing. When entering this hotel you feel you have come to heaven. Overall, I'd recommend and stay again with the right expectations. And about 20 minute walk to the unofficial bus stop accessing Tirana, Other seaside Towns, Berat, etc. It was away from the main boardwalk but walkable.

The family may have been around but not always. There was never anyone technically behind the front desk. It would have been better without given all the mildew. I'm usually surprised to see a shower curtain in this part of the world. That is fine, just don't say there is daily cleaning. I was there 3 nights and not cleaned once. What I would call out given the listing and what is posted in the hotel room is that there isn't daily cleaning even if it's stated. Given the affordability this is a basic hotel. There's a nice friendly family running this hotel. It was nice to leave the balcony door open to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the sea. Anyway if you come you should tune in for great time.I'd recommend this hotel for the balcony sea views, beach area and affordability. All other funs on the beach like in Italy on the other side of the sea.Once more reason to come to Novigrad specially to Aminess Maestral Hotel to try croatian meat specialty with good local wine. But don't forget your sneakers at home, there are not sport shops near the hotel. If you are very active person and don't like to lie near the sea, you can play tennis, there are near 14 earthen courts, bicycles, kayaks, wind surfs and as a last resort you can use sneakers for running. They know italian, german and little bit eanglish, but if you try to speak croatian, you find best friends. If you have mask you can see so many fishes near the shore, fishes are not afraid of crazy people, because there are not so many people in the sea.)))All staff of the hotel is very communicated and polite.

But the sea is not full of people heads in these bays. because bays are small, and the place that you want may be taken by somebody. There is no problems with a sun umbrella and sun lounges, if you do everything in time before 9.30-10 a.m. There are another beaches with big stones, but with cozy bays with very clean sea. Featuring indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a restaurant and a lobby bar, Hotel Aminess Maestral is located just 80 metres from the Adriatic Sea and a 10 minutes walk from the town of Novigrad.Įverything was fine! If you come to Croatia don't think that you are in Italy please.
